I'm just wondering if anyone had been there... or here, well, I live here, So... yeah. The economy needs help, we need more people to come here. Government's drowning and I don't want Saipan to fail. The island is really nice, the sites are gorgeous, ze scuba... love it, it's amazing. Limited pollution, I tell you that. Traffic's not bad. Food here is great. The shopping is great, too. You'll see if you just come here, at least for vacation.

Really? that's sad to hear..
I was there long time ago..lived 2 years..when I left the economy was OK , new hotels, hospital, shopping malls, golf clubs were built...it was big difference before I came, I know it is a very nice place for vacation..but there must be reason why this island needs help..\Don't lose hope, many Japanese tourists go there and they visits with families or do some sports camp..
Hope to visit again...and nice to hear somebody from Saipan has a great concern about the island.. ..

No ... I haven't been to the Pacific Islands. I will definitely go to Saipan and Guam when I go to the Philippines late this year.

I've been there a few times. It's a cool place.
Last time I was there I hung out with some locals and got drunk at the bars playing pool and eating monster burgers. This guy named Romeo who works for PWC. Good times. Friendly people there.
