Well, I will tell you what I wanted for my birthday. Any old crappy present, and for my wife to put on two ponytails, a thong, and nothing else, and give me the fellatio of a lifetime and then let me sleep. That would mean the world to him. Love and Respect.

Depends on how long you have been with him... how old you are, how old he is, is he `just a boyfriend` or, is he the only one forever and ever? is it REAL love (you will know if it is)
So many things unanswered, he should be happy with whatever you get him, it is, after all, JUST a birthday....and, there will be another next year.

mine like cars..so I got him a car magazine subscription
music- buy tickets to his fav. band
cook him dinner

-If he is a lord of the rings fan get him a ring on a chain and have it engraved "because youre my precious"
- Have the meaning of your names printed and framed with a birthday message at the bottom
-buy him a cologne that you love or his fave cologne
