I have seen Muslims name their daughters Fatima and Christians especially catholics naming thier churches Lady of Fatima cathedral or dioces. Is it a coincidence?

Yes, there is a difference.
Located in west central Portugal, in the region of Leiria, and approximately 110 kilometers north of Lisbon, the small town of Fatima is one of the most visited Marian shrines in the world today. It was in 1917, at Fatima that Mother Mary appeared to three shepherd children Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta with an important message from God. (see www.fatima.org for more info on that message).
Whereas Fatima also happens to be the name of Mohammed's daughter.

Muslims use the name fatima 'cuz it was the name of the Prophet Muhammed's daughter.
as for the christian use well that's 'cuz they blv that Mary showed herself to three kids in Fatima Portugal.It's actually a place there.
so absolutely no coincidence.

I know the answer.
It's just because there are a lot of names that Muslims and Christians share...(and there's no difference)
for example: Nadia, Fatima, Adam, Jelissa, Jamima, Jamal and more....
so, both Muslims and Christian, not a coincidence.

it may be just coincidence but mohammed named his daughter Fatima & i dont know where the christans got that name from so who know?

I don't know but somewhere out there are two fatimas who each think the other is going to hell. That might be irony or blastphomy I'm not sure
