How long can the chicken pox virus survive in fluid?

If I have cp & my saliva is left on a cup after taking a drink, 2h later someone use it, will it infect that person? As I realise that someone else may get infected just by standing beside me and breathing the same air, I was afraid of infecting my family.
Please advise. Thanks.

It would rapidly dry out and die, it would live only a matter of minutes.

I think it has to be active, by like the pox has to be just breaking out in the fever stage. After there out I don't think there contagious. Go to medmd and check. Its been 35 years since Ive had kids sorry I cant be of more help.
