Hi , I am the same when I drink beer... not all types thoug only certain types and also the same with wine and spirits. What happens is that each different alcohol has different preservites in it and yeast .... your body is obviously allergic to one of these so ttry to narrow down which beer is making you blotchy and dont drink it...... also if you drink alot it could also mean sligh alcohol poisoning.... you can do some research on the net about alcohol and how it can eeffect you other than getting drunk...LOL. You may also get queesy as in having slight breathing difficulties....so really check out the web....

One possible reason could depend on ethnicity. If you have any Native American or Asian heritage, you may be prone to get blotchy red or flushed on the face and chest when you drink (anything alcoholic, not just beer). There is a gene missing in some of these groups that breaks down alcohol, thus causing this reaction.
