All these thoughts inside my head
spinning as I lay in miseries bed
and the pain, the pain
it's something inside
and the hate and the hurt
they both collide
and the sound it's a wretched heart-rending cry
that pities none
and gives no reason why
And I'm screaming in torment
bleeding in red
and it won't let me go
till I'm peacefully dead.

I wrote this before I was diagnosed. I am doing well on meds now. I felt really, really depressed then.

Sure it is, I also applaud you for being able to articulate your feelings and for getting it just right, it is just right you know. You know when a particular person either has the IT factor or they don't?? Well, it's the same sort of theory with your precious ode to the socially challenged (I'm bipolar schizophrenic and mentally challenged sounds so anal so I recoined it), you've done a perfect piece of prose here girl !!

Oh, by the way, do you think Jennainhiding is hiding from anything in particular ??? Like perhaps THE REALITY OF LIFE !!! Lets all sing together now kids,

Who wants to be a meany?
Not me.
Meanys drive baked bean tins
That's what meanys do,
Meanys bathe in puddles
That's what meanys do,
Meanys drink their bath water,
That's what meanys do,
Who wants to be a meany?
Not meeeeee !!

Anyways, LuckyMo, job well done. I love it to pieces........

PEACE

Thanks for sharing... Many of the bipolars I've known feel like there's no stability in life because their moods shift so violently, even if only once or so a year, the thoughts plague them because they're waiting for the next drop into depression.

(Did you mean to write "in misery's bed"?)

NOPE - IT'S NOT A TRUE BIPOLAR POEM

i't s a depression poem

bipolar aka manic depression -- - - you only have the depression side of this disorder////no mania whatsoever

pls dont claim to represent bipolar w/this work of art.. :-\

That is a really good description of a person who is bi-polar.
but what thoughts do you think of? what make s it all hurt so much, what is inside of you that won't let go?
I just would like to better understand what goes on in a person s mind who is bi polar.

I keep winding up with crazy women. They start out great, but _then_ they go crazy. Would you like to go to a St. Patty's parade?
