You have to go to church to be saved because it forces you to be confronted by the collection plate.

Another good question. It is complacency and stripping oneself of own responsibility. Also lack of imagination, and certainly lack of intelligence and character. Most importantly, it is the sign of a Soul that has not advanced very far in own enlightenment. An enlightened Soul speaks to God directly, and God speaks back to them. It is only people with no connection in God, and quite often with no genuine belief in him, that need the church to communicate "with God".
Ministers are happy to pretend to be taking on our job, because the whole purpose of the establishment of the church in the first place, was to manipulate people, have power over them, and to strip them of their own will, and hence also responsibility. The reasons are political, and the desire for worldy influence and power.

Old Testament: Yep, people talked to God directly. And we had the Judiac Law of which we abided by.
New Testament: We are saved by grace and still talk to God directly. No Judiac Law, just the law of love.
The Bible and Jesus doesn't say we HAVE to go to church to be saved.

Its not just the going to church. Its what we learn at church and put it to practice. Ministers can't do our job.

Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more then going to a garage makes you a car. But if you are a car then a garage can protect you and be a great place to get a tune up every so often.
Grace and Peace.

The way to be saved is to ask God to forgive your sins. you ask Him to come into your heart and life and give Him ALL your sins and really mean it then you are saved.
Please read the link below to find out more about this it only takes a moment and you will feel a peace you never knew before.
