Oh if only! My 3 y.o. daughters home with chickenpox. Was up at 4.30 til 6, painting spots with calamine, eating breakfast. Managed to get us both back to sleep though for a couple of hours after.
I'm a single mum, I really feel like I need a break, but I have no support from any direction. Parents live in Spain, nearest brother is 100 miles away.
Hold on, let me get the violin out.....

It is great but i'm drinking lovely cup of coffee an having two slices of toast with jam as well love these school days hate the weekend when they are all back an arguing me live in uk england ..

No not total peace my 4yr old is at school and can'y wait till little boy and girl starts, there 1 yrs and 2 yrs,so looking forward to peace and going back to work!

Me too I'm in Bonnie Scotland....Aberdeenshire. It is peaceful here too peaceful in fact. My bairns are all grown up and gone, so make the most of yours as they soon will be grown up and gone before you know it.

im so jealous!! i work as a teacher and am a single mum, while i get 'time off' when my daughter goes to her dads, im usually busy doing the things i cant do when she is at home! lol think ill go have a cuppa, then the whole, cmon its bedtime thing will start!

I am in Northern Ireland, it is 9.45am and I am enjoying my breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast and coffee. Oldest is at playschool and baby is fast asleep. Aaah bliss.
