Well, a raspberry is when you stick your tongue out, puff your cheeks out, and make a rude noise to show that you don't appreciate something.
The blowing is what makes the noise.
It's considered rude, equivalent to throwing a rotten tomato.
There are raspberry awards for worst movie etc, kind of like an Oscars for the worst of the worst.

I don't know nowadays but it Use to mean: One who spreads S H I T, ( lies about people as if the lie were true!) I haven't heard of that phrase BLOW Rasperries"
