don't give her any gifts. it might remind her of her ex.
just give her tissue, hugs, drinks. and tell her that if she needs anything you'll be there for her.
she just wants to know someone cares about her.
just comfort her. she'll appreciate it. and if it gets really bad , just hug her and let her cry on your shoulder until she lets go.

Time heals. She could do with a few days away from work. I have just gone through a break up and I stayed in my room for a few days until I felt brave enough to carry on. You can help her by letting her talk about it if she wants to and letting her know you are there for her.

Just listen. Listening is the most important thing. Let her cry - you can be a shoulder to cry on. It sounds like you are a very good work mate.

Tell him that it is just but the start and he must find a way to move on and not go on with that frustration he is haviing now. That is just but a part of entering a certain relationship and he must learn to get up for he have made to enter it.

Do nothing. She sould be mature enough to leave her private life at the door and be in good enough character to do her required task.
Just as you WERE NOT hired to comfort her - if you do that will be your main job whenever she's hurt.
I know because it happened to me and I could not get the weak woman to leave me alone at work.

women need time to grieve - ofcourse offer your openess eg "if u need some1 to talk to im right over here for you" - if she talks to u about it thats what she wants, 'to let it out', but if she just answers "oh your sweet but no thankyou" she just wants to work stuff out by herself
i suprised myself with that answer, its pretty good eh, maybe even the best 1 wink wink lol

Keep the horrible break-up off her mind. Time will make her heart grow back again.

Give her support and tissues and have her take time off work till she is calm. Its no point losing her job too.
