Monsieur, the problem is this claim will never be true because Jesus really existed. I would like to refer you the Bible (or a Historian who's not politically or socially biased). Can't you see the logic? Do you think that those apostles who wrote the Gospels created a person( Jesus Christ is True God and True Man) who's not real, who's just an illusion? Can you imagine the world without Jesus? I think this world will not exist this far if we were not able to know the good news of God: Jesus.
Jesus is life; the way, the truth, and the light.
I think the best that you can do is, do your own research. Don't let this question hang at the back of your head.
I also think that, there's no point in answering your question because after all Jesus really existed....

Why that is the most illogical question I have ever read. Everybody knows that Jesus existed because it is in the Bible!
DUH!
You skeptics may ask, "Well, how do you know that the Bible is true?"
The Bible is true, my friend, because it is the Word of God!
and some particularly clever skeptics will sometimes go a step further and ask, "How do you KNOW it's the Word of God?"
and I always am ready for that one... I simply pull out my Bible and show them where it says that the scriptures are the WORD OF GOD! I simply smile and say, because God says so.
You see how the skeptic uses circular questions to try to trap the Christian with logic and reason!?!? IF you aren't as faithful as me, then when skeptics try to use all that reason and logic and those words (that are not from the Bible, BTW), then I suggest that you hold your hands over your ears and repeat, "Jesus - Jesus - Jeeeesus!" OVER AND OVER - I guarantee that those agents of Satan, those skeptic-demins will have to flee... I've done this several times and it always works... When you open your eyes (usually after of ten minutes or so of doing this) they will either be gone or running away!
Praise Jesus! There's proof right there that miracles still happen!

How nice, you get your religious education from Hollywood and the pop press. You are not an agnostic. You don’t have enough education to be anything. All the anti Christ junk is just for people like you that know nothing of religion or God. You are a good target for any con man in any area of life and you will buy anything that comes along.
Just watch the type of people that post a reply. I am sure you will see yourself many time over.

All those human beings spoke of what the early Christians believed and that's all its evidence of. Btw, the point out interior the text cloth of Josephus replaced into solid some centuries latter with the help of a Christian. not one of the authors suggested Jesus in admire to Roman records (wherein Jesus replaced into never suggested), in simple terms in admire to cutting-edge Christian ideals. That plenty is it seems that obtrusive.

...If I believed what you are suggesting, I would only have to reject much history, and have to believe that 11 of His 12 disciples were a bunch of idiots who died martyrs deaths for a lie.
...I recommend you check out the evidence for Jesus, for the Bible, and for Christianity again - this is no small thing. If I am wrong, I have nothing to lose; if you are wrong, your decision has eternal consequences that cannot be changed.
...I really pray that you will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be saved. (Acts 16:31)
...Whosoever will, may come.

Too many people walked with and wrote about Jesus. The Bible is written by more than one person right.....That's why its so amazing. They are stories of many people, some that never met or lived in the same time frame. If one person tells you about Jesus, you can doubt. When hundreds wrote about meeting Jesus and witnessing his life and how he helped so many people, then you might listen..... I believe in the Bible's Truths.

this is how i think of it, there might have been a guy named jesus that lived in those times, but it doesnt mean that he did all those things back then. he was just a modern day magician and people took him as the son of "god" because no one else could do that, and the "virgin" mary is also disproved. because back then they thought the only way to get pregnant was intercourse. when now we know theres many other ways. plus she could have lied. noone knew how to check back then.

There have been various devices throughout history to deny the divinity of Jesus Christ and to try to deconvert the converted.
Individuals who love self crave the companionship of those that would worship them. They seek out others who deny God and then victimize them.

Uh,Jesus definitely existed. You can read a refutation of that movie here:http://www.tektonics.org/gk/godthere.html
and information about the historical Jesus here:
http://www.tektonics.org/jesusexist/jesusexisthub.html
The reason why the movie has not made an impact on Christianity,is because it's bunk.
