Why am I still waiting to die?

Source: United States Government. Year? 1969. What happened? USA Military informed my I would have to fight in the Vietnam war to stop Communism or else they ( Communist ) will come into my town, down my street, into my house and kill me and my family. OUTCOME? Lost Vietnam in April 1975. What am I doing? I am waiting for the Communist to come into my town and home to kill me. It been almost 32 years. Fast forward to 2007. The USA Government says we have to fight in Iraq to stop the Insurgents from coming into my town, my street, my home to kill me and my family. Do I have to write the rest of this story? Do I have to wait 32 more years for the killing in my town to begin?

32 more years I will be 92.

Iraq did not do 9-11.

I guess back then the government would tell anyone anything to get them to fight in Vietnam. I know that we did have terrorist come to our land, and kill American people. You just happened to be in the right place at the right time unlike many unfortunate people. If we do let the terrorist get away with it, I bet they will come back and do it again. I think we need to be over there to keep them in check. Besides, I enjoy being down there doing my job. MPs lead the way.

Governments worldwide rely on "saving us" from many perils war, famine,disease in order to cement our reliance on them.Saving us from negative possibilities is a lot easier than bringing about tangible, measurable improvement and a lot less accountable also it provides a convenient smokescreen for them to develop their self interests.
Dont wait for the killing to begin, you have so many positive things to be grateful for and achieve in your life that will provoke people into thinking about your dilema, ask questions and not accept the status quo.Sitting around awaiting your demise sounds like surrender.Is that what you want???

believe me my friend, within the next 32 years you can expect one of two things...a third world war...or an alien invasion...whichever happens..one thing is certain, a great big war is coming...and whether it be muslims, commies or aliens..someone will be invading your home town within the next 32 years....but the good news is, that after this next war...a peaceful golden age of abiout 1000 years will begin (provided we win, though I am confiedent we will)

I'm curious - do you have this document where the Government tells you that the Commie Horde was going to come to your address, personally, and kill you? I don't recall those being mailed in the 60's or 70's...

And fortunately for us, after we saw what the Democrats do when in the White House, we elected Ronal Reagan, then George Bush, then another George Bush after 8 years of a Wana-be-Porn-Star selling us out to the Chinese.

And I'm guessing you don't live in New York, 'cause the bad guys surely DID come to THEIR home town and start killing. Or any of the other US cities where Jihadi nut-balls have started killing. Like Seattle, Washington, Los Angeles, Detroit, Denver, Raleigh, London, Madrid, Bali, Paris, Amsterdam and over 7,000 other locales since 9/11.

If you really can't wait, I suggest you go visit your local Mosque - the one in Tucson has strong ties to al Queda, as do a large number of other mosques in the US. A little research will help you find one. Go on in, leave your shoes on, tell them that Mohammed was a false Prophet who was a pedophile. Tell them that he had sex with Pigs. Pick up a Koran with your left hand, set it on the ground, and step on it. Then give out cards with your address on it. You'll almost certainly have someone come right to your house to kill you shortly after that. Kinda like Theo Van Gogh did in the Netherlands for making a movie about Islam. Or the Danish cartoonists have had. Or Salman Rushdie has had. Or...Hmm. I'm guessing this isn't working for you. I'm betting you have the traditional Liberal allergy to facts and logic.

well,I remember the same line being said in 1971 when I was picked up....I agree,we lost and I also agree that they didnt come to my hometown to kill my folks....now this bunch?..that we are tied up with now?....somehow I dont doubt they just might show up over here and start killing(again)....so you have a point but I have to disagree with some of it.....

1969 ? mission was to stop the spread of Communism, kind of worked out pretty good after all, bad thing is all the liberal draft dodgers reproduced and their offspring is now helping the fanatics who like to blow up women and children.
