You need proteins, carbs, and starches. Increase breads, potatos, and other protiens laden foods (Broccoli, for example is only 3% protein, while nuts are much higher).

Also, tailor your workout to focus on the muscle groups you want to work. If you are working your arms and shoulders, use a ballanced workout to build biceps, triceps, and shoulders/back. The triceps are what give most men a "bulky" look, but without support from a strong back/shoulder, it can look awkward. Same for strong triceps with weaker biceps around the front, although most people have little trouble working the biceps.

If you are looking for a total build, don't forget to target your total leg area as well (foreward curl should be equivilent to reverse curl).

Eat only when hugry and not more than three times a day. Include plenty of fruits and uncooked vegetables in ur meals. In between the meals take only water. Chew each morsel of food at least 32 times so that ur body systems become functional u get better nutrition. Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly. By adopting the above practices u will be able to achieve ur ideal weight in a reasonable period of time.

Atleast eat poultry, and fish if not red meat, as u nead amino acid. Have a balance diet of 50%-30%-20%, carb-pro-fats, respectively. Do a good amount of aerobics as well
