Is the question a number you seek?I'm here to change an evil
an evil even Allah can see himself
I'm here to destroy that evil
And help place it on the very back shelf
I'm here for those fatherless kids that have nothing
to try and give them tomorrow's hope
I'm here to rebuild the positives in life
and help with the negatives, help to cope.
Cope with the fury that hails from a leader
who somewhere lost his way in life
I'm here to help cope with the sorrow he caused
the pain, the anger, the hunger, the strife.
I'm also here for that scared American
The one that remembers New York
When those towers crashed and we all stopped moving
At school, our houses, and at work.
I'm here for the KU students
The ones that endure education for years
I'm here so that the may enjoy life
With woman and man minus the fear.
The fear from 9/11 that they may be attacked
That Allen Fieldhouse can stand secure
Knowing that we won't fail in our mission
our mission to keep democracy pure.
I'm here for my husband whom I love
Whom I didn't want to leave
So that he can vote and speak his mind
and enjoy holidays like Christmas Eve.
So here's to you America
I promised to support and defend at all times
Here's to you my fellow Americans
That evil tumor I'll make benign
And here's to you Iraqi children
Here's to a new society
A society without violence and fear and evil
A society that will let you be free

Fighting another man's fight?
Well, I guess that depends on how much you care about other people not being raped, not having their children raped, shot, and gassed, and other people not being fed into industrial plastic shredders.
I guess it also depends upon how much you care about maintaining access to oil. Which is only important if you like those paltry few things that you get from oil.
Gasoline....Heating...Cooling...Electricity...Plastics...
Medicines...Solvents...And pretty much everything else that makes our society 'go' from one end of the globe to the other.
So, if you don't care about other people's freedom, other people's pain, an insane dictator supporting terror across the globe, a clear and present danger to your nation and don't care about keeping our culture and society going...You're right. Let's get right the heck out of Iraq!

Not enough and always the wrong kind. If we fight a war without the real desire to win the conflict what are we doing?
