I often read questions that are already closed and feel very strongly about the topic but can do nothing about it. is there any way to contact the writer of the question after the question is closed? Right now I'm feeling desperate because i just read a question from a pregnant teenager asking what to do with the baby that she doesn't want. She wants to know how to convince herself to love the baby when she hates it now. She doesn't seem to have considered adoption- that poor baby! I became a mom at 19 and have so much i want to tell this girl! Please can anyone help?

Go to the question, click the person's icon and it will take you to their Y! Answers profile. Provided they have the option selected, you can either message them using Yahoo Messenger or email them.

For example, here is a screen shot of your profile. See how it says you don't allow IM but do allow email?

click on their ID and there is a link that will take you to their email address. Not everyone has this activated though.

Also you have to have yours activated in order to send an email.

Click on her picture and you will see her profile and whether or not she has chosen to allow other users to email or IM her.
