One of the best ways to love your children was explained to me at an early part of my children’s lives. The best way a father can show love to his children is to love their mother. A child’s life and security is all about Mom and Dad. When a child sees their Mom and Dad loving each other in how they talk to each other and how they still hold hands when they walk together. And even when Dad opens the door for Mom. I have never seen a child not loved in such a family. A family is a family when and only when there is faithfulness and love and commitment to each other. Where the members of the family are dependent upon each other and not independent. Children know they are loved when Mom and Dad love each other faithfully, because for the child that is love. I am a father of two children. My son is 19 and my daughter is 16. I always ask them if they are having a deprived childhood. They reassure me that they are not. Believe me I’m not perfect but I am still crazy about my wife and my kids know it. By the way, I’m always asking my WIFE to marry me too. She still says yes, most days. HO! HO! HO! very funny.

Loving my child is more than just saying i do, or through providing financial support. I think the best way for me to love him is to spend as much time with him as possible. He is only 2 1/2 yrs old, and depends on me very much. It is a resonsibility that I don't take lightly. What my little guy doesn't know yet is how much I depend on him. His life itself has made my life and myself better. I can't think of anything more gratifying than being a dad.

I'm not a father, but in the future, if I get any children, I would treat my children like younger classmates... except I wouldn't cuss, be dirty, act immature, etc. I would not be too harsh on them for minor things that they do (i.e. talk gibberish, roll on the floor), but if things get too rough (destroying things, try to be bossy to me), I might slap them across their faces : P. It all depends on the circumstances, though. Seriously. There's no one way to show them true love : P. and I'm just a college student : O :D : ) : ( :D : P : D :{ : } YEAHHH

i am a mother, with a great husband who is a caring father to a child that is not his. He plays with, and cares for, hugs, and is there for the child. he shows him how to be confident, and caring, and senstive. My son knows that his step father loves him by being envolved in his life and everything he does

I had a friend tell me that she thought it was great how I listened to them and gave them good solid answers to their questions. She said that her dad did that and it made a big impression on her and she really felt loved b/c of it, of course the usually stuff like tickles, hugs, gifts, discipline is a of part of it as well, my kids are all under 8
