It is a joke everyone - he was just joking. Obviously i am not seriously wanting to trade places. We are having fun on the computer together. Thought people would give funny replys............. guess i thought wrong!

Sure, I would like to try it. Does he eat much? Can he shovel snow? Can he mow lawns? I don't like to go to McDonald's. Does he still want to trade you in?

Sounds like you have an 8 yr old who needs a lesson in reality. Drop him off at a remote gas station with $10 to survive with, and come back after a half hour to see if he has learned about how he only has choices on things he can control.

Tell your 8 yr old that he is the most important kid in the world, and in your life, and that you couldn't possibly trade him in--not even for a new one. Why does he want another mum? Tell him if he stays with you, you will bake him a nice cake with "I love (fill in the blank)" for dessert. He will succumb to chocolate as most kids would.
