Like Yahoo personals for example... I think these sites are just scams to take money from people.
Also has anyone ever subscribed to yahoo personals? is it legit?
or do they just start stealing money from your credit card.

YES! I highly recommend staying as far away from people from other countries. My wife had a friend who meet and married a prominent guy from England and long story short he ended up being abusive and put her through a very long divorce. All he really wanted was a US citizenship.
On the other hand I have an acquaintance who used the e harmony site and from what I hear it has been just like the commercials.

Yahoo Personals is the place I met the lady I am seeing right now. We have fallen in love with each other and we started just talking and emailing at first. The other dating sites such as Match.com and eharmony.com and the rest all can connect an individual with anyone according to the criteria the person sets forth when they join. I must admit that some of the matches are not what is desired depending on the criteria one sets forth but in essence the experience of most people is good with the reputable sites such as the ones I have mentioned above. The only way you will ever benefit from such information is to try one if you believe that you can't find someone in your area where you live. The thing you must remember is to be honest with the information and questions you answer. Don't just lie about things and expect good results because you will be discovered by the individuals you contact and who contact you. People are very cautious these days and for good reasons. You should be too. Be careful when contacting someone and remember to start out by protecting your identity and getting to know a person before you give them any real information and be honest with them and yourself.

Yes i have met a few people online and yes i was using a dating site it was really good to. They were not weirdo's either so that was a bonus. I found one site that is free and fun and it is a dating site it is at www.okcupid.com it is a free site and you can IM right there it is a match finding site you should try it no scams to get ur money. And keep ur head up you do find people online that u do meet and might enjoy being with.

The ones like yahoo and all that are legit. But think about it this way. You will be literally cruising around (internet wise) looking at pics and profiles of women that paid just like you did to be there. Other than having some money, you know NOTHING more about the person. I would suggest go to a place where you can chat it up with someone for free, and if you like them, proceed with caution. I met my wife that way. Love and Respect.

well i once used one of those dating sites i forget which one and i had a very successful love type relationship with the guy i met on there for 3 months but in the end i decided to end it cause the relationship was kinda stressful but yea...they do work you just gott too be careful about meeting the person in person

Depends on how open you are with people on the site. I have met various women online through Yahoo and dated them. They didn't all work out, but it was great! I am seeing someone I met on Myspace.com. I like the ability to filter out certain types of people, of course it is pretty superficial, but if you like asian women, you can just search asian women. :)
