My little girl was recently diagnosed with rotavirus and when i took her in the ER she was severly dehydrated and was put on IV fluids. Now that she is home she won't drink any pedialyte nor water, she will only drink skim milk is this healthy? Is there anything you would recommend? PLZ i'm desperate.

Go to clear juices. Apple juice or White grape juice, diluted by 1/3 with water. Bottles are comfort items to kids that age, particularly when they don't feel well, so use one.
Sweet, tasty, high usable water content.

Getting any liquid into her is good. You could try to water the skim milk down and get more water then milk into her. Have you tried the different flavoured waters? Different flavoured pedialyte? Is she still on the bottle? if not would a bottle make her feel more comfortable drinking these things? Personally I hate the flavour of Pedialyte so I dont blame the little one.

Well at least the skim milk is fluids. As long as she is drinking something it is better than nothing. It is healthier than water.
Also since rota virus affects the bowels, do not give any juices as this will make it worse if she gets or is having diarrhea.

If she doesn't want to drink, you can try to give her pedialyte or water in a dropper.

As long as she is drinking something, try to add more water to the drink, offer her all sorts of juices to try to encourage her to drink.

maybe try the pedialite popsicles.. she might think shes getting a yummy treat.. and if that doesnt work i would get ahold of a dr again before she ends up with more IVS..
