Atheists don't know anything about real science. If they did, they wouldn't be atheists. People who say that dumb mud somehow bootstrapped itself into intelligence over billions of years by random chance luck by random chance luck certainly can't be scientific genius's. All of the founders of all the scientific disciplines were christians and creationists with the possible exception of Hydraulics which was founded by Leonardo Da Vinci. He certainly was a creationists but I'm not sure what his religious persuasion was.

I think folks just want to learn something. Sometimes, although it is not as often as I would like, authentic learning takes place in this forum.
That said, there are believers and non-believers that seem to like to just act out.
Not all non-believers who post to this Forum are hate-mongers. Likewise, some self-professed Christians seem to have wandered away from the “love thy neighbor” reservation judging by some of their written words. I will confine my remarks below only to those in both camps that act badly.
For both of these types of persons, it is interesting and sad to see how some persons will behave when hiding behind the anonymity of the computer. As an "old guy" I have occasionally acted irresponsibly in my youth, so I can relate, but only up to a point. I suspect that these persons would be truly ashamed if they knew their parents, husband, wife, children, etc., learned of some of the things they write herein. If their loved ones have departed this earth they may even be looking down on these persons from above and weeping at their actions. Clearly they do their loved ones a disservice and dishonor them with such behavior.

I have an open mind. I enjoy reading about other religions. I enjoy debating with people of other religions, in a respectful manner, of course. What I don't enjoy is when people put me down because of my beliefs. Just because many of us do not know as much about science, as others, does not mean that we cannot be atheists. People seem to think that to be a "true christian", that you have to do this and that, and believe in this and that......when all you really need is your faith in God and a bible. With atheists, on the other hand, there is no "truer atheist" than any other. We all do not believe in God.....period. We don't have to have to be science geniuses to not believe......Just like Christians don't have to be religous scholars or priests to believe in God.

Atheism DOES NOT equate to science. Just because I don't believe in God does not mean it's for scientific reasons. Why do so many people have a hard time understanding that? Tomorrow they could disprove every single scientific theory/law that has ever existed, and you know what? I would still be an atheist because I don't believe in God. I don't have faith that he exists. It has nothing to do with science. Science just so happens to offer some support for my viewpoint.

Typical cry of the ignorant!
You only want those around you that buy into your fantasies!
You want me to consider that there is a God out there that kills children. Exodus 11:5, 2 Kings 2:23 - 24, Revelation 2:23.
Commits Genocide TWICE!
Approves of rape and thinks a woman should marry her rapest!
A God that admit he is evil 1 Samuel 16:14 and has created evil Isaiah 45:7
Best of all one that says love your enemies but tortures his forever! WHAT A HYPOCRITE!
YOU REALLY WANT ME TO BELIEVE SUCH A SICK GOD EXISTS?

I DO hang out in the science section. And here as well, for the benefit of people like you. Of course we can see electrons and protons - with mircoscopes. We can't see god with a microscope.

No. Science is not a forum for atheism. As much as misguided theists wish to believe it, science is neither a religion nor the opposite of religion.

Ummm.....no. Atheists have as much right to voice their views on relighion as the rest of us do.
If your view that Atheists should stay out of the relighion section, then isn't it fair that all relighious people should stay out of the science section? I sure a lot of people wouldn't be hapy with that. I'm sure there are a lot of people of whatever relighion who are interested in science.

Wow, your other question was reasonable too.
You'll get more respect if you stop with the caps lock and the !!!!!!!!! and the over emotional outbursts.
We don't see your god, but I am puzzled that you think screaming about it will help. Does logic work better when someone freaks out?
