Because it's all trickery by charlatans, designed to get donations and gain followers. If you ever visit the Bible Belt, you'll notice that even though most of them believe in "faith healing" down there, they haven't figured out how the "faith dental plan" works yet.

Hi humble simple man. I seen your question. Why won.t God heal amputees? Well I may be the person to answer that. Because i am an amputee person my self. i had my right foot removed. I ask that question every day,I ask the creater. I am a good looking women with lots of energy, but not as much as before. But one thing thing I still have is a good heart, I love people. I also found out who the good people are. I lost someone I really cared about, cause of my lfoot being amputated.. My life has gone on and i am a strong women I am beautiful, but don't have my right foot. My strength and courage has helped other people. People say thay have two feet and have problerms in life. And can hardly cope, let alone get up and walk. I also have been thanked, that I gave them courage. People always comment that I am a strong women. Maybe God is using me to make people strong . I do have a artificial foot now. But still would like my own foot. One thing is that I have a big hearrt, and still love to help people.

Currently he isn't healing anyone, except on a spiritual level. The gifts of the spirit were done away with when the last of the Apostles died. They had served their purpose of helping to encourage the newly formed Christian congregation, & get it started. However, in due time, God will heal amputees, along with all other ailments & imperfections ...

yes i am i tell you that if a star fish can have it limbs back then human too can be healed but this ur question proves that there is hereafter where the people who suffered thier trials with patience will be rewarded with the gifts far more exciting then the pain that one suffers
this universe is created to test peoples' actions in happyness and grief

this shows the limitations of man who has even shifted to cloning but can he do what you said
another thing id like to tell you if you have time that my little brother whom i love so much has a desease by which his legs have swollen to animal size and kind legs and this is so pain ful for the one who love him but we stii have faith in God that only He can heal his wounds.doctors say that he can not be cured fully but i believe that God can even heal amputees .if he can create you out of nothing then why cant he do that .look if God is not doing what we expect from Him is because we are not doing what we are created for and the final word is that Will Belongs to God He will do what ever He wants

I agree with a previous poster.

"Healing" is not the same as restoring the amputated appendage.

If the point of amputation stops bleeding, then that wound was healed within the scope of natural possibility.

However, to answer the question...sort of...I will ask a question.

Why can't amputees restore their own limbs? I have heard it suggested, and tend to agree, that We once had the Power of Regeneration, but lost it when we fell into this carnal existence so many millenia ago.

Just something to chew on.

...Let's look at the character of God. He is altogether holy, loving, righteous, loving, forgiving, and omniscient (all knowing). Every decision He makes renders Him righteous and holy; He never errs: He is perfect.
...Healing to everyone is not guaranteed in Scripture.
...While Jesus walked the earth, He healed lots of people - He raised the dead, made the blind see, the lame walk, dispelled demons, and in John's gospel we are told He did lot of other things that are not recorded. He could have restored legs, too, if He wanted to - we don't know if He did or not.
...As a Christian, it is a real shame that these faith-healing sideshows are equated with Biblical Christianity. I believe the faith healers are phony, they are rooking money out of hurting people, and I do not hear the true Gospel message from them -(that is, that Jesus died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, and was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures) I believe they should be rejected.
...A sad thing is that many leave these meetings and are not really healed at all. How disillusioning that must be - is that how you feel?
...Would you trust God, even if He didn't heal you?
...I have a few things wrong with me, i.e., I am half-blind, I have diabetes, I have bi-polar disorder, gingivitis, thyroid trouble, and trouble with nerves in my feet. I take a lot of pills every day. I would like to be healed, but God shows Himself strong in my weaknesses - He tells me to glory in them, because God is exalted through them.
...We can still have peace and joy in the Lord, who never changes and is forever faithful. We won't be here for long - God gives grace to each of us - and soon in Heaven, we will have glorified bodies.
...Trust God; He is worthy of your trust, and He loves you.

I don't think it is a matter of " why won't he"'but why he chooses not to...I honestly believe things happen to people to test their faith. Each and every one of us is given different obstacles to face and overcome, whether they are physical, psychological or sometimes both..How we deal with it is what makes the difference. So instead of asking why,we should focus on something positive....Imagine having the choice between losing a limb or your life....I would certainly choose life. After all,as long as you are alive, you have the ability to achieve greatness, regardless of not having limbs..AS I believe greatness comes from within despite any handicaps a person may have..

God does not interfere with whatever happens to us .He has given us free will to do what we like. if something terrible happens to us like a car accident where we loose a limb etc.God leaves it up to us to cope .Some people would see this as a sign of an uncaring God but they would be wrong. His love for us never diminishes even when we offend Him over and over. Our physical bodies on this earth are going to decay someday anyway .If we have faith in God we will cope with whatever happens to us because we know we will be with Him someday.

I know of this one boy who went to a Charles and Frances Hunter service with no thumb, and Frances Hunter called him to the stage and began commanding it to grow out in the name of Jesus, and guess what....It did!!! It took like maybe 2 minutes, but it grew out all the way!

He collects the parts. Also, i hear that baby Jesus was comforted by nubs, so being an amputee isn't such a bad thing. As you can tell by my answers, I am a head-amputee.
