You have not got the picture exactly right. Nor does Davay say anything other than hatred. Talking about Israel in Davay's presence is like waving a red flag at a bull.

To the issue at hand, first, no Christians are dying for Israel.

Second, "The Arabs themselves cannot be considered but temporary residents. They pitched their tents in its grazing fields or built their places of refuge in its ruined cities. They created nothing in it. Since they were strangers to the land, they never became its masters. The desert wind that brought them hither could one day carry them away without their leaving behind them any sign of their passage through it".
- Comments by Christians concerning the Arabs in Palestine in the 1800s

Third, before the days of Muhammad, Christian conquerors had occupied Jerusalem (within the Byzantine Empire). Bringing one's religion into battle demonstrated that both their armies and their religion were superior to those of their victims when they won. So, they usually built their holy places on top of their victims' holy places, which they did on the Temple Mount, to absorb the strength of their conquered adversaries and to convert them to their religion. Even under the threat of the sword, the Jews refused to convert and allow their lineage to be absorbed, which would in effect, transfer God's Covenant.

Muhammad died in AD 632. Jerusalem was subsequently captured from the Romans by caliph Omar, six years after Muhammad's death. There was a struggle over who would assume Muhammad's role as leader of the new religion of Islam which he had envisioned.

"The fact is that today's Palestinians are immigrants from the surrounding nations! I grew up well knowing the history and origins of today's Palestinians as being from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Christians from Greece, Muslim Sherkas from Russia, Muslims from Bosnia, and the Jordanians next door. The civil and tribal wars between Yemenites (from Yemen) and Kessites (from Banu Kais of Saudi Arabia) ... are well known among Palestinians.

"My grandfather, who was a dignitary in Bethlehem, almost lost his life by Abdul Qader Al-Husseni (the leader of the Palestinian revolution) after being accused of selling land to Jews. He used to tell us that his village Beit Sahur (The Shepherds Fields) in Bethlehem County was empty before his father settled in the area with six other families. The town has now grown to 30,000 inhabitants."

- Walid, a Palestinian Arab defector, talking about the recent immigration of Arabs to Palestine.

Not all Christians believe they have to be on Israel's side; many aren't. However, Jesus was Jewish and the Bible says that when he returns he will reign from Jerusalem (Psalm 2:6-8, Psalm 110:1-3, Acts 1:6-12). Romans 11:2 also says that God did not reject the people of Israel. I haven't heard of any Christians dying for Israel in the Middle East. I only know about Christians dying in the Middle East because they converted from Islam, which was viewed as apostasy by Islamic fundamentalists.

Its simply that the jews are Gods chosen people, and we must obey Gods law, for those who have not read the Bible
which is Gods law, its hard to understand, the jews are still waiting for the first coming, The Crist . The old testament even tells of the Crucifiction about 800 year before Christ
and crucifiction was not in practise then,

Israel doesnt care about christians....if that was the case, they would stop expelling christian arabs(palestinians) out of their homes.
I think if you asked a christian arab their opinion about israel, they will have a different opinion than a western christian.

See what the lebanese christians are saying about Israeli's

THE people who are on that side are BLASPHEMES to Christ as they do not agree with HIM as written in Mark 1:15 that TIME IS FULFILLED and start of HIS KINGDOM..... Church They think first trip of Christ to earth was FAILURE. No recognizing that jews will never accept Jesus as Christians do. Who is most blasphemes to Christ except JEWS who rejected HIM and till now they reject HIM? I wonder on sense of "Christians"
HOW CAN THAT PERSON CLAIMS TO BE CHRISTIAN who STILL THINKS JEWS AS "chosen" then what difference after CHRIST????

If jews are chosen then why these people are christian... non chosen..... degrading themselves....lol

Its not about sides--its about support. Supporting Israel as a Christian is following the word of God.
Last days or not--we are to love, pray and support Israel as believers.

Love for Israel and her people is not a hard thing to do. It is as natural as breathing for me.
It is exciting to watch as God keeps his promises to his chosen people --returing them to their land.

Before someone screeches about Palestinians--there are no such thing--they are Syrians, Jordanians etc... and God provided for them very well.
The Arabs own 99% of all middle eastern lands and Israel takes up less than 1%.

It would be wonderful to not mix religion in but the conflict is rooted in religous/ cultural beliefs because frankly--if you have been there--you would see that reasonably there is no reason for people to fight. There is enough land to go around.

As far as the U.S.--not everyone in the goverment supports Israel to our shame and possible destruction if we turn our backs completely. The U.S. has a habit of supporting democracys no matter where they are. Why anyone finds that odd I dont know--no asks why we support England or Australia.

Israel will stay Israel forever.

If "dieing" is anything like dying, then your claims are not accurate.

No Christians are dying in the Middle East for Israel. Unless you count the Palestinian Christians who have been subjected to terror by the Palestinian Muslim terrorists.

They are suffering for no sin on their part, other than not bowing to Muhammad.

That's a bit harsh. Not all Christians are pro -Israeli. You are most probably basing your assumption on the USA's actions and its pro-Israeli stance. They are only on the Israeli side because they share the same views of the Arab world and the USA needs a base from which to operate its Middle Eastern wars

The Jews were Gods original chosen people, whether they recognized Jesus as Messiah or not.
Jesus was a Jew, after all.
The New testament warns Christians and all others not to stand against Israel, lest they incur God's wrath.

Why do you generalize? If I used your logic I could ask why are muslims supporting terrorism? or Why do Jews have big noses?

Get my point?!

Not all christians believe in this end of times / raputre like theory, I for one do not. So please think before posting next time.

Have a lovely day!
