Sorry Christians, no offense but your religion is too simple minded. You are still grounded in dualistic thinking.

Obviously,Johnny Cee,you do not mixed around with any Buddhists. One of the greatest Thai monk, the late Ajahn Chah, did not have much formal education, yet he has thousands of Westerner as his disciples;the most famous is Ajahn Barhmavamso (1st class honour in Physics,Cambridge University,UK).
You can go to his site at:

The tenets of Buddha were 500 years before Jesus and include everything good we credit him with except illusions of miracles which Buddha refused to do. Also instead of just stating impossible goals without a method Buddha gave the means of attaining those goals . The Chinese invented spaghetti but most think it's only Italian much the same as the religious principles that earlier groups like the Egyptians forged before our more now accepted belief systems . Buddhists don't eliminate killing and go out a kill as Christians and Muslims do either. If some of the world religions studied religious history of all the religions rather than faithfully accepting without question a single contrived version the world would not suffer as much ignorance and the big picture would help to enlighten those that blindly follow a narrow path like sheep to the slaughter .

Hello hello. You're right, I have not read Buddhism. But after having heard various speakers on the subject, there is a consensus that in order to be a "good Buddhist" you need to have a PhD in Philosophy. And in my 61 years of Christianity no Buddhist has ever contradicted this statement.
You are right when you say that The Gospel of Jesus Christ is very simple. It had to be otherwise too many people might lose out. The fact that it is simple, simply points to the magnificent grace and mercy of Almighty God, not to mention His undying love.
I Cr 13;8a
Jesus loves everyone, including Buddhists.

EDIT Sorry to have angered you hello!!! But thank-you for your honesty, and its good to know that the respondents are having some sort of effect on this wonderful forum and we're not just punching a keyboard out in cyberspace somewhere.

Boy THAT sounds like a simple minded statement!- keep 'em coming you genius buddhist! LOL

So how exactly does it make the Holy Bible look like a coloring book? Or are you just a little kid spouting off what you've heard other pagan buddhists say? oooooo "dualistic" thinking- that a big word for you isn't it?

oh yeah..."no offense"...riiiiiggggghhhhtttt!

...by the way, putting a question mark at the end of a statement doesn't turn it into a question...

....ddddddrrrrrrr...but my gym teacher said...ddddrrrrr...

Your point? Why is it necessary for you to look down on other people's religion? I think you don't understand what the bible is and stands for. I would go and find out more before making such inflammatory and uninformed statements.

Really!, but karma can't explain the reason of human suffering. Buddhism offers no purpose. What's the point of being pure so you dont get lost in the Samsara? After all no one's perfect. At least Christianity presents repentance and not perfection. By the way, i like shaolin monks.

I've read more books on the subject than the average bear, and as far as I'm concerned, all religions have common themes - and while no religion has the right to be "more correct" than another in my opinion, the fact stands, they have more in common than not, so why are you bashing?

Grasshopper where did you learn such disrespect for those who believe differently than you? I am sorry you are not yet ready to snatch the pebble from my hand, blind as I am. But alas I must go and contemplate what is a fart in a wind storm?

dualistic thinking, symbolic literality, metaphorical facts....the list goes on.

symbolic literality: taking symbols and such as either evidence or signs of a specific supernatural being

metaphorical facts: using a metaphor i na conversation as if it is a fact. example: "see that tree? that tree proves god exists".
