stories about proactiv. i need ur stories!?

i ordered proactiv 30 day kit and still confused. i am 15 y/o and schooling,. does it includes peeling and burning?

please give me ur stories. any stories, successful or not. thanks .

I saw no difference when I tried it, so I returned it. And no, I didn't have any peeling or burning. There's a lot of trial and error that goes into figuring out what works for your acne, because everyone's skin is different, so don't be discouraged if it doesn't work.

The main ingredient in their stuff is benzoyl peroxide. If that doesn't work for you, try products with salicylic acid. Carefully read the active ingredients (it's usually listed as that - active ingredient) in every product you're interested in trying, and eventually you'll find something that works for you. Good luck.

Oh, and always wear a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 when using acne products because they generally make your skin more sensitive to the sun and the burning you're talking about will probably be less likely to occur. Wait for the product to dry after you apply it, then put on some sunscreen.

i don't think that proactiv is special in any other way than it promotes a good skin treatment.
You can get the same results from products you get from your local store.
you need a cleanser, toner/exfoliater, and a moisturizer w/ or w/o benzyl peroxide or salicytic acid
other than that I do recommend their sulfur based mask.
overall my proactiv experience was a good one.
