I've got really little time to get to J.F. Kennedy Airport. Besides, I don't want to spend a lot of money for the transfer. Does anybody know the duration and costs of a transfer? Is there a Shuttlebus or do I have to take a cab?

It's really easy! Just use the New Jersey Transit to New York then the A train Subway toward Far Rockaway and get off at the JFK/Howard Beach station and there is a free shuttle from there. Cost about $12 to New York, and another $2.00 for the subway.

This is NY, you are lucky to get to any airport without going by cab. they are all a pain to get to. Hate to tell you this, but it's a long way from Newark to JFK, you are going to need to leave at least 1 1/2 hours, and that's on a good day without a lot of traffic on the LIE. Good luck

take new jersey transit [ train] from EWR TO
NY PENN STATION
Go downstairs and catch the Long Island Rail Road
To Jamaica Station
From Jamaica Take the AirTrain to JFK Buy AirTrain ticket when you buy the LIRR tickets
Total cost about $20.00
If you catch everything just right it may take you 1.25 hrs realistically about 20 minutes more. and that is the cheapest and possibly the fastest way to do that
