To be in harmony with your surroundings. If you cannot change your surroundings , become a part of the system and try subtly to change the same as per your liking . But you also have to respect others feelings while doing so . This is maturity and this brings contentment . Have you seen a recluse ever complaining? This is because he is happy to be what he is . Acceptance of the situations bring comfort and peace of mind which is essential to be happy. This has nothing to do with health and wealth as these are also temporary endowments showered on a person to test his/her unhappiness.

When we mention the name KRISHNA, we do not refer to any sectarian name. KRISHNA MEANS THE HIGHEST PLEASURE, and it is confirmed that the Supreme Lord is the RESERVOIR OR STOREHOUSE OF ALL PLEASURE. We are all hankering after pleasure. ananda-mayo 'bhyasat (Vedanta-sütra 1.1.12). The living entities, like the Lord, are full of consciousness, and they are after happiness. The Lord is perpetually happy, and if the living entities associate with the Lord, cooperate with Him and take part in His association, then they also become happy.
The Lord descends to this mortal world to show His pastimes in Vrindavana, which are full of happiness. When Lord Sri Krishna was in Vrindavana, His activities with His cowherd boyfriends, with His damsel friends, with the other inhabitants of Vrindvana and with the cows were all full of happiness. The total population of Vrindavana knew nothing but Krishna. But Lord Krishna even discouraged His father Nanda Maharaja from worshiping the demigod Indra, because He wanted to establish the fact that people need not worship any demigod. They need only worship the Supreme Lord, because their ultimate goal is to return to His abode.

A timely reminder to every one appeared in a recent issue of the Reader’s Digest sorrowful words as those of a certain top member of the U.S. Republican National Committee. lie is now dead, and in his prime, he was blessed with material wealth, power and prestige but not with spiritual wealth. Unfortunately, our message is late for him but for the many still alive who may be undergoing similar conditions, the words of the honourable gentleman of the U.S. would undoubtedly be an eye opener (warning) for those who are still in a quandary . Those last and sorrowful words reveal his true inner feelings, that despite his material success i.e., power, wealth and prestige, there seems to be absolute EMPTINESS in his whole being which could only be experienced through the knowlege of spiritual reality. In his quest for material things, he forgot to develop his spiritual nourishment. He forgot that all worldly things are but ephemeral and transitory in nature and what matters is our inner wealth which is more meaningful, abiding and lasting. His last words are here below full of frustration and uncertainty.
I know I acquired more than most. But you can acquire all you want and still feel empty. What power wouldn’t I trade for a little more time with my family? What price wouldn’t I pay for an evening with friends? It took a deadly illness to put me eye to eye with that truth, but it is a truth the country can learn on my dime.... I was never a religious man. All you have is your time on this earth, I used to say. Confronted with the prospect of my own end, I reevaluated. I did not even know what I believed. I welcome anyone who could tell me about his faith....!’
His last words were very revealing but it was completely a dismal failure full of emptiness without a trace of hope of spiritual fulfilment. It was tragic indeed, without a trace of hope all his times were spent solely for material wealth and leaving not an iota of spiritual nourishment. Try ISLAM the only recourse of humanity for a "real’ happiness.

Happiness to me is- Food on the table- Extra to share
Clothes on our back - Lots to give around to needy
Rent paid- To live in shelter, warmth from cold
Smile on my loved ones face and lots to share give around to needy people, animals.
Happiness to me is seeing others happy because someone cared enough to share and lend a helping hand where and when needed.

It is YOU and only YOU. Nothing more nothing less. Unable to understand simply close your eyes imagine you are no more. Where is the world, where is happiness, where is sorrow. YOU are the ULTIMATE. But it will take some time to realise this. allways keep in mind YOU ARE EVERYTHING.
