If you can be sure that it's been sealed for all 30 years, then yes, it will still be good in that it will still be as good as when it was bottled. If it was poor whiskey when it was bottled, it will still be poor whiskey today. If it was good when it was bottled, then it can be anybody's guess whether or not the seal remained sound the whole time. If you actually plan on trying it, go for it...use your nose first...if it smells like whiskey, then you're set. If it smells nasty, then it might be worth tossing it to be on the safe side.

I have a huge collection of un-opened Jim Beam the only problem I have encountered is the cork was
crumbling. I used a strainer and whiskey still good . After all it is old.

only if you fill it with with soapy water and let it sit 4 hours and then rinse it out and fill it with fresh water and let it sit 2 hours. when you spill it out smell it, if you can't smell anything then its OK. If their's whiskey in it, take it to dealer that deals in antiques and liquor. You might have a real find if its(the whiskey) good. It could be worth quite a lot of money. You might email JACK DANIELS WHISKEY PLANT. They would know by the taste.

No, you should send it to me and I will test it for you to make sure its safe. Unfortunately the test uses all of the whisky.

Yes. Depending how it was stored, (no light exposure, relatively stable humidity and temperature) it should be the similar to the day it was bottled.

im pretty certain its still good.
alcohol doesnt perish.. BUT champagne DEFINATLY goes bad after so many years.
whiskey should be ite tho
