I heard that he had a brush with his own teammate!!
In F1 he used to be an aggresive driver, is he any better in Nascar?

I think he is doing really well. He has raced less than ten races and he is doing better than people that have raced for a long time. I think he is going to become one of the best drivers in Nascar as he did in F1. I am glad he is showing what he is, and how he can do when he wants to get something. About the brush with his own teammate. Well Juan Pablo wanted to win the races, and he knew he had a better car. I do not think he did it in purpose. IT was his fault. It was an accident. It can happen to anyone.

There is no dout that Montoya is a great road course drive he did great in Mexico led most of the laps, he weakest points are on the oval and thats where he really needs to win and he knows that but I say give him till the middle of the season and he might just suprise us all. He he new to the Nascar car series and he needs to get the feel for the car better and how they run on track and learn how the other drivers also drive, but in all honesty he will do pretty good this year he just need to learn alot of stuff still

The only race that I know of that he's done any good at is the race in Mexico and I didn't watch it. Heard he bumped his own teamate??
In the Cup Races that he's ran so far he's not done so good, he seems to spin out a LOT, although he is new and seems to respect the other drivers. Once he get's use the feel of it he should do okay, but with him bumping his teammate like that, well he'll have to know that is not the way to keep sponsors not to mention respect of his teammates, or other drivers??
We'll see. right?

I definitely think that with his experience he is on the fast track on his learning curve in NASCAR. Not only that, but it seems to me that he is very respectful of the other drivers and is well liked and races clean up to this point, including the Pruitt issue. He had his nose in on the turn when Pruitt went wide and it looked to me that Pruitt came down on him for whatever reason. Pruitt has probably watched the video by now and realized what happened.
It may be an act, but so far JPM is doing and saying all the right things, as far as I can see. In fact he may have to get more aggressive as he learns the ways of NASCAR. Right now he is trying not to offend anyone, but I predict that will change after the honeymoon is over.

He is doing ok. He won the Busch race Sunday in Mexico. But He is a rookie and will have some problems to start off with.

If he drives in the Cup series like he drove on Sunday; some of the more aggressive veterans might never let him finish a race.

He needs to be careful not to piss off the wrong drivers.

It's still early. The first couple races were lacklaster and as for last weekend, he did win and brushed his teammate in the process.

He just started, it's too early to tell. He did however win the Busch race in Mexico City on Sunday.
