Up until two or three years ago, I always had nice warm hands (and feet too, I suppose), but nowadays my hands (and sometimes my nose) are cold most of the time. I know exercise can improve circulation over time, and I try and do a little when i can, but is there anything else I can do to get the warmth back?

cardio helps ur heart pumpin and ur blood movin' to all parts of ur body.
doin' cardio means ur NOT liftin' weights.

I too suffer this. Im 24. I also have a tempermental blood presure, which often dips low. Doctors rent concerned by this, but I cant take aspirin or such likes that thin the blood, making circulation better. All I find best is hot baths, hot water bottles and a partner with a high body temperature durring the night... lol, but true.

I'm not saying that you have this but you might want to check out herbal remedies for raynaud's disease. It's poor blood circulation to the extremities (this is extreme, like numbness and extreme pain).
What i'm reading say's that vitamin E improves blood flow throught the arteries, magnesuim has benefits on the cardiouvascular system, inositol hexaniaciate, a form of the b vitamin niacin, enhances blood flow the the extremities. Oh, and avoid nicotine and caffine which can cause blood vessels the contract.

The vitamin niacin will dilate your capillaries. 16mg/day for men and 14mg/day for women. Be forewarned, the primary adverse reaction is flushing and a feeling of great warmth. If this occurs, try a half dosage. It would also be a good idea to have this evaluated by your doctor particularly as this is a sudden change for you.

It depends how old you are, I had circulation probs but didn't realise it until I had a stroke, now I'm on an asprin a day. Perhaps you should go to docs and get checked out. High cholesterol is dangerous too. Something has obviously changed in your body and it's worthwhile getting it checked out.

I recommend massaging your hands regularly, and also your face. Massage is great for improving circulation.

massage? ive heard that getting massages help with circulation so maybe try that. if you can afford to get them professionally (and i dont blame you if you cant, there so expensive) give yourself a massage very once in a while. i do and it really helps; though i do it to help me relax when i cant fall asleep. goodluck anyways :)
