We are all capable of leading others to the word of GOD. At least show others the path and let them decide if they want to walk it or not. Now is the time to do this more than ever.

To me, religion is a bunch of nonsense, like a silly dance without purpose or meaning. I do believe that meaning can be put into anything, but I think it is better to actually feed the poor than to just pray for them, that kind of thing. No, I do not care if anyone knows about any religion.

The bible says to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is pretty much has nothing at all to do with religion, the gospel is of course anti-religious. Jesus us taught us to put away man-made religion and go directly to God, but that they only way for us to do this is through Jesus -- and Jesus is not a religion, He is a real, live person.

Politics is for the regular citizens, for civil matters and policies. Religions are for whatever they are designed for. I suppose a religion could be designed for a country, a political persuasion, personal gain, or whatever.

A religion, if it is to have any value at all, ought to be based on moral values and principals that everyone needs, therefore it would be idea for a society and fit nicely with politics. Only a religion of truth, love, and concern for the poor and needy (disabled, inflicted, widows, orphans, diseased, etc) should be considered to enter into the "world" of politics. Any politics without these sorts of things is worthless, or rotten.

Christianity fits nicely into the concept of an idea religion. If it were not for the superficial masses invading it, everyone would agree. It would be really nice to see Christianity in politics, but only the truly caring, loving, and considerate would want to see this -- in fact they would demand it.

If you are a Christian, Satan wants you far, far away from politics. God wants you to involve Him in everything that you say or do, and all you do is supposed to be for His honor and glory, making Jesus Christ truly the God of your life (ths is the ONLY way to be a Christian).

I am pentecostal and no, I don't care who knows that. why would I? If I am ashamed of God, he will be ashamed of me before the Father. You can spread the word, but you will always be persecuted. That is truth. You will be slandered for speaking anything you feel most of the time. Not sure about the politics thing. I don't get into that much. I'm not so into religion, only pleasing God and trying to be the best person I can be.

I am not nor do I care about "religion". I am a Christian and worship Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.

Being atheist is a religion.

I don't force my beliefs on anyone because they have the same brain I do and they have to choose for themselves.

Now if someone asks me a question about God, etc. They had better be expecting a answer

Religion doesn't mean anything to me - it's all about having a relationship with God that is important!!! These are the last days and it is our job as Christians to spread the word - even planting a little seed, can bring great results. If we did not try and spread the word, then we are failing in our job as Christians. Jesus said that if we are ashamed of the Father, then the Father will be ashamed of us. God Bless You!!!

I used to be a closet Christian but yahoo answers has forced me to get back to serving God again with a fury because the war between good and evil has reached a feverous pitch. As we grow closer to the great tribulation Satan knows his time is short so he is using willing vessels as pawns in his game of confusion and destruction. This can now be seen clearly here with great fervor. This has forced me to proclaim Jesus as Lord. I know it is not the most popular thing for a young lady to do but just can't seem to be able to escape this fate. There is a dark and dying world out here and you may very well be the only light they will see.----I know the scoffers will have a field day with my answer but I'm not here to win any popularity contests----I'm here to help save souls and to educate and enlighten all who have an open mind and heart. Yes-----I do it even at the grocery store and at work (not easy).-please pray for me.

I think that satan would love to keep "religion" private and "in the home" only with politics in the world. The Word clearly tells us to share the Gospel with all and there are many ways of doing that. I believe Christians need to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. We need to know the "market" and how to reach our target audience (just like the advertising people do). Demographic studies and "method" assessments should be done to be most effective in presentation. After all, advertisers do it for the almighty dollar but we do it for the eternal salvation of souls.

To me religion is a personal relationship with God. I don't mind talking about it if I am asked, but I do not believe in proselytizing or using religious beliefs to legislate others.

As a Christian religion matters not to me but my relationship with God is everything to me. Thats the difference in Christianity.

There is a difference between sharing your beliefs with others and trying to legislate them into laws. You have the constitution-given right to be open about your religious beliefs, and offer others the chance to learn about them ... but we also have the right to believe as we wish -- even if it includes believing that there is no god. "Spreading the word" doesn't involve forcing us all to think like you or risk legal consequences. After all, if god was real, wouldn't he rather people make the right decision out of choice and not because they have to?
