Skin brushing is not only good for the skin, but it helps circulation as well. You should use a skin brush, not a hair brush as the bristles are different. Always stroke towards the heart and you can do the full body. Skin brushes can be found in dollar stores and also drug stores, Walmart, etc.

Yes, it increases blood flow. I've heard only to do it in the direction of your heart. For example from your feet up your leg.
It also exfoliates your skin promoting new skin growth. Also heard it helps with cellulite
