my kitten threw up brown?

kitten sleeping on my bed, goes on the floor, starts humping and throws up brown stuff?

if it looks like food...then it threw up food. if it looks like poop, then it's probably a hair ball.

Its probably a hairball issue. Get some hairbal remedy from the pet store tomorrow. Meanwhile, if you have Vaseline petroleum jelly, dab some on kitten's tongue or if he won't have it, dab the jelly on the front of his paws. He'll atumaticaly lick it off. The jelly helps the hairball go through the intestines and out in his next poop.

My cat's vomit is orange-y brown. He is a Persian and frequently gets hairballs that are this color. I actually only worry about his vomit when its not orange, because that could mean he is sick. I don't know about kittens though, sorry. But the jerking before they vomit is normal, that's what my cat does.

mine used to do this, have you changed his food recently? Mine can't digest dry adult cat food - he is fine with dry kitten food. Alternativly he has just been greedy and eaten too much!!
