Nobody knows the exact date when Jesus was born. Christians celebrate the birth of Christ that one time of the year.

No. That is why it was proposed this festival will be called winter festival instead of Christmas. You see most of things we see are man made myths yet we believe and do.
Also if you observe, Jesus comes from Middle East or Jerusalem. There was no snow fall there nor was Santa and his...
To save ourselves from the fire of hell we will have to follow nothing but the whole truth as revealed in the heavenly books. Where will we get it? The Quran is the last heavenly book and still uncorrupted from man made myths or fabrications. If we read quran we will also know what was actually written in the Injil, the original version of bible, and in Torah, the book that was given to Moses (peace be upon him).

No i don't.
The night we do the Christmas was a big pagan day.
The pagans used to celebrate the winder.
The Christ was born another day, but the church used the pagan day/night because it was culture thing.
The church was used almost all the pagan celebration days/nights, it has only changed there names, and now we still celebrate the same days, but with different names.
If you read agent mythology especial the Greek, you will see what is happening with this.

Jesus was born toward the end of harvest. There would have been no sheppards watching their flocks by night on Dec. 25

If you remember the story from the Bible Mary and Joseph were in Bethlehem to pay their taxes, There is archaeological evidence that tax collecting was done in April May, so no I don't think Jesus was born on the 25 Dec.

Reading all the replies, I can tell no one went to the same catholic school I went to. We were taught that December 25th is the day when the three Wisemen and other well wishers arrived in Bethlehem. According to Jesus' driver's license, he was born September 3, 0001. ( He was an organ donor, too.)

No. But it is the day that we celebrate His birth. And it is one of my favorite times of the year! It closes out the year on a "high" note and begins the new year with Christ still in the forefront of your thoughts.

Do, Dec 25 was a Pagan holiday. To attract Pagans to Christianity, the early church blended these two holidays. Certainly that's not the only thing blended, Christianity is choc full of Pagan practices and traditions.
