If we didn't have religion, people would still be twisting around whatever Man's Law we had to their own violent needs.

No religion in fact support abuse towards humanity. It is only by following certain dogmas created by some selfish minds such abuse takes place. Religions are founded with the noble task of guiding the humanity towards understanding, tolerance, brotherhood of men and fatherhood of god etc. Those who ascribe different meanings to the religious texts are only to be blamed. Hence instead of following those misguided people, read the texts yourself and try to understand yourself-nagarajan.

If you think about it you cannot abolish any religion without showing abuse towards humanity.

that would include every religion. And people are to scared that this life is all they have, that they will go to any means to achieve enlightment.Its written in our DNA to survive and these people retort to crazy beliefs to cheaet the code by going to heaven,e etc/

There is no one moral or pure enough on Earth to make that decision.

well in the US we have freedom of religion, which affords us to worship as we please, or not at all.
The freeedom of choice and people respecting oneanother's choices is a far better way to approch religion, in my opinion.
