i was wondering if i was playing a videofile on quicktime and wanted a certain scene as a pic, how do i save it as a picture?

you can just hit the print screen button and paste it into microsoft paint and crop out the rest of the area besides the pic and save it...
thats the easiest way w/o getting a video editor

Easiest way:

1. Pause in Quicktime at the frame you want.

2. Got to Edit>Copy

3. Open Paint (MS or Mac)

4. Select Edit>Paste.

You're done.

It takes a video editing program that will import a .mov (quicktime) file. Advance to the shot you want --> export as snapshot.

Hi you can do it with AVS Video Convert http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/avs-video-tools.htm
From the site:
- download and install the program
- run it, open your video file or files
- click "Edit",
- select the frame or frames you need
- click "Export Frame"

if you could, freeze to the frame desired / if not wait until the frame desired comes ...then hit ctrl-shift-printscreen ...then bring up an image editor such as paint or printshop then hit ctrl-c...
