dear, we people not only like to blame god for all the bad things that occur on earth, but also like to blame one another for that.because we are not the owner of our soul & action but alone soul is the owner of our body & action.but from the beginning to the end of our life span, most of the time ,we forget it and only do all the things that only satisfy our body, & physical nature.we should be guided by our owner,by our soul, but most of the time we are guided by others.we never use others,we are used by the others. god means supreme conciousness.so we should spend our life conciously.only then we can understand the meaning of god and soul.if we follow ourselves,if we think about our past,we will find that, what we did ,was done conciously at that moment, but today we can only lough on that and can only say that it was wrong.so, our conciousness also developed with the time.the bad things that occur on earth is only due to unconciousness of ourselves.think of that.( this is short form of a long answer)

God is all-knowing and all-powerful, yes? If god is all-knowing, then he knew what would happen when he created this universe. He knew that lucifer would rebel and fall from heaven, he knew that Adam and Eve would be tempted, and he knew that they would succumb to temptation. Therefore, by creating a world that he knew would have the presence of evil, he is to blame for all the evil things that occur. Why? Because if he is all-powerful, he would be able to prevent these things from happening!

I understand the argument that some bad things that happen in the world are our own doing ... even though god knew that we would do them, and he still created us anyway. However, what about the bad things that happen to people that aren't a direct result of their sin? What about all the little kids that are molested and murdered? They didn't do anything to deserve that ... and since they didn't bring that evil upon themselves, why doesn't god do something to prevent THAT situation?

If he knew that evil was going to be present and he still allowed things to happen that way, its his fault. If he has the power to prevent evil and he doesn't, its his fault.

There are two sides to this question, I think. The first one is more like "Why do people blame God for bad things that nobody has control over?" Lots of folks point fingers at God when hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes happen. We live on a volatile planet, folks! S**T happens!

The second question might go something like: "Why do people refuse to take responsibility for their own choices (or not hold other people accountable for their choices)?" Easy answer: because folks like that are lazy liars. Lots of people don't like the feeling of their butt being in a sling, especially when they put themselves there. So hey! Let's blame someone or something else! Then I don't have to fix it or accept responsibility!

The human condition is to look for answers, to find out "why." Sometimes when there doesn't appear to be any acceptable answer, especially when we have lost something or someone we held dear, we blame God. It's convenient and it seems to fit at the time. Lots of folks hold the erroneous belief that bad things aren't supposed to happen to good people, and when they DO happen, people become indignant with God over it. In life, there is nothing that says some people deserve more fairness than others. People are born, people get sick, people are injured, people win lotteries, people succeed, people get fired, people get robbed, people find love, people feel sadness and loss, people die. Good people, bad people, in-betweenpeople, all people. And the cycle continues. It's life, and sometimes it sucks. But it's the way it is.

Last year my wonderful husband suddenly got very sick and died. No rhyme or reason.... he just died. I was flooded with emotion: sadness, fear, anger, frustration, feeling set apart... you name it. Gratefully through it all, I didn't blame God. To think that I had the RIGHT to have my husband longer is arrogance. It would have been nice, but it was not for me to decide. In my heart I believed God brought him to me and me to him, and those four short years we had together were the best of the best. God gave me a gift by letting me borrow Steve for those years before it was his time. Life happens and so does death. Good things happen and so do bad.

It is always easier to blame someone else, rather than taking responsibility for bad choices made by oneself or collectively. People also are under the illusion that this life is supposed to be paradise rather than accepting the fact that this is only the journey
and suffering is part of this journey. The good news is that this can be mitigated by love and a spiritual connection to God.

I've never heard of anyone blaming god but the belief in a non - existent or false god ..... that's the reason good people become over confident enough to fail to think . I blame ignorance not people but also credit people for their hard earn endeavors rather than giving a god credit for (what he did behind our backs?) .
It would also show good manners to acknowledge the power of luck or probabilities in the interplay of circumstance with our efforts.
Blame man vs man ,man vs nature , man vs god who do we blame man, nature or god ? Chance is nature why not let the blame fall on chance sometimes.

yes, we blame him. He calls himself all powerful, you consider him to be so , but he hasnt done too much to help us, more than 2/3 of all wars were faught in his name, he killed countless children, he didnt give comfort to those in concious suicide, he didnt help us advance as a culture, only brought us down(thank god for science, with out it we would be at the bottom of the food chain listening to fat priests telling us its what God meant to happen), he didnt ever help anyone!, men claim to have visions of him but in these visions what does he do?, he tells you to go spread word about him, the gracious God, but is he really?

heres a question to think about, How has God helped us?
and why do people like to blame him for all the good things that happen on Earth when it really wasnt him, but hardworking people who want to advance humanity?, was he there to help when we were on the moon?, when Hitler murdered millions of people? what good has this God done?

Why not? If you wish to give god credit for good things, is it not just as sensible to blame god for the bad ones? But I see no reason to believe in god, and it is provably useless to do so.

Well since I don't believe in god, I can't blame him for anything. Karma is to blame...not humans and not god, its all circumstance...or nature.

Because some people want to think that they are the best judge of everything. They have a high opinion of themselves.
