Can medications be considered demons? I am talking about the medications used to mkae us "uniform."?
Depression meds not necessary people need support system nowadays you have pills for anything and everything we turn from God and turn to pills who are these Satanic doctors called Psychiatrists..if the pills were so good for weight loss, depression and everything why do we have more people percenatge wise who are depressed than ever in America? Dont take the pill...take THE WORD, His Word the word of Jesus Christ for things like depression or anxiety...it can be wrked out with counseling alone which is much more effective and cheaper..take the analogy you got a problem, ie you have to install a new window you have to work to put the new window in just as we have to work with and through our problems...taking a thousand dollar pill is a rip off and it makes people rich who are often not on God's side but the enemies. See history of WWII and how Nazi doctors came to our country, and wh

ah.........
Medications arn't demons.
And I don't believe that meds are given so we are uniform.
We are given meds for brain chemical imbalances. There is more depression becasue we live in an insane world.
Being depressed is like having the cold or a flu.
It can be treated in a variety of ways.

some people cannot work out their problems, because a major mental illness only responds to medication. god is not a cure, but a help for strength

, and confidence to help a person seek out another person who is experienced in helping other people. people do not realize that there are two types of mental illness. one is organic , were no matter what u believe, or do , their is no help for these incurable deceases, except medication to relieve the symptoms. anxiety disorders can be treated,. by counseling and some medication if necessary. your opinion is shared by a lot of people, but i am afraid it is misinformed. i worked in a psychiatric hospital for over 20 years. i saw hundreds of people come in sick and suffering, then leave feeling much better, and enjoying their lives once more. psychiatrists , do more good than bad. some people just are unable to work out their problems with out medications, just like some diabetics cannot get better without medications. some times pills are pushed too much , but in a lot of cases, it is the only answer. it is good that u have an opinion, because it shows u are a caring person, but make sure you have a informed opinion, before u share it with others. .

I was against medication, too, and I did go to church a lot (Catholic, Episcopalian and Church of God in Christ).

But it basically didn't work and after 10 years of trying-- I ended up in the hospital worse than ever. Only during the hospital stay did I start medication.

I'm sure medication is not the answer for everyone though.

Take your creepy, ignorant bible-thumping to the religion section and leave us alone if you don't believe what we're doing is right. You're not going to "save" anyone, you're going to make people not like you. Some people need meds. Some don't. Don't preach in your ignorance.

Dude you started out good, but started to lose me half way.
Are you mad at the mental health and mad at medicine?
Last time I checked god and medicine don't go hand in hand.

Were you smoking crack when you wrote this?
I just have to ask.

I agree with you whole heartedly, my wife was hospitalized for suicide attempts twice and went to a psychiatrist and was on Meds. She was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder.
she became right with God, because she reconized that the demons that were attacking her could not be stopped with drugs but by the Saviour.

she also reconized the amnesty she recieved from her mother and father(both were in mental hospitals)

The change I have seen in her is amazing.

May God bless you and yours.

that's why it is never ethnical to involve religion with medicine, people use medicine for the wrong reasons all the time.

Instead of trying to use meds people should really try to take responsibilities for their actions

Hey, just what point you trying to say kid?

I agree with you.I think doctors jump on medications way too fast .I wish doctors would take the time to try other methods than medications.
God is the answer to all your problems not medications.I guess the doctors, along with pharmacist would all go bankrupt if people would just turn to GOD!!!!!!!!!!
