I have played other movies and they all seem fine, yet the past two movies THE DEPARTED & FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION both have audio problems where you can see the voice is not at the same time as the video, its a milisecond off or something close to that, its very annoying and want to know if its the player or just two bad DVDS that i've rented

ok the departed is a relly good movie =]. bsides that i think the problem is that the speakers or dvd palyer may be off, but not the actual dvds. this happened to me one time. its either your speakers or dvd player.

The problem is with the DVD. If the movie was shot to film, as is still mostly the case, it is possible to have the sound and picture out of sync.

i don't think there's a problem w/ the dvd player.

try borrowing a dvd in another weird language or whatever from a friend, put it in ur dvd player, and then that will be out of sync. then, try that dvd(the departed & for ur consideration) again. i don't think it will have that problem again.

i would try anouther movie and if its ok, then its prolly just the disc. if its not ok, then common sense would say its the player. dee dee dee.
