I will be meeting a couple of buddies that are flying in from Houston this Friday at LAX. We are staying at Manhattan Beach on Friday and then we are going to San Diego Saturday afternoon. We all dress "Mid Houston" style at night, ie... Designer Jeans, rock&roll shirt or thermal if cold, and a dark colored suit jacket. Is this a mistake to wear in LA? Or is this a good thing to standout?

Wear a plain white button down shirt under the jacket and forget the rock n roll T shirt.

The rock shirt with suit jacket might be a little "out" but with a small collared dark shirt it'll work. Usually a shirt without a jacket is best...you'll in and outta cabs anyway..
