I'm talking about when you just want to be able to go for a walk or go work out by yourself. I feel helpless to help myself when someone/I'm not naming names/ asks suspiciously;" Where have you been? and..?" ect.

It is normal. My girlfriend has an acquaintance she used to work with. That person is now retired. My girlfriend wants to rest on her days off, but the friend wants her to go to the mall and shop. The friend is bossy and judgmental. She even says: "it's 9 AM - why aren't you up yet?" (my girlfriend works swing shift and sleeps til noon). My girlfriend is slowly but surely cutting the ties because the other person is not a friend, but someone who wants to put my girlfriend down to make herself feel better.

You need to stand tall and perhaps piss the other person off so much they don't want to talk to you at all. Actually that happened to me once - I made an ex-friend so mad we haven't spoken since - I felt so liberated by not having to deal with their judgmentalism, or being constantly told I was a moron because my politics were wrong (instead of accepting me for what I preferred even if different), etc. I guarantee once you let the chips fall and show an utter disagreement and distain for THEIR viewpoints, the balance of power will shift to you! Plenty of nice people out there to make friends with. Go for it!
