One answer from "cloudboy" points out that the children are retarded(or defective), and the couple are also retarded so they need to be educated and make to understand what is happening, in USA there is one such case where they are kept separated, so they cannot have more children. In this particular case in USA the girl had an operation voluntarily so she cannot have children and they can stay as family unit but I do not know any more details.
Legal ruling was that it is illegal for them to engage in such relationship according to local law.

I know two different people who have married their first cousins and had children together... There is nothing wrong with the children and they have a really good relationship together the parents, the children and the rest of their families have no problem with it...Of course it takes getting used to, but in reality there is absolutely nothing wrong with it as long as they are two consenting adults. Whether we agree with it or not there is nothing no one can do to change it.
BTW, this is in Canada...There are no such law against a cousin marrying another cousin

by the way punishing them at this stage would mean,punishing the 4 little kids.pls leave them alone at least for the children sake.

Yuck I think it gross and should be a punishment especially since they have a change to have special needs kids because of the same genes.

its the fault of there mother ana marie,she allowed them to sleep together.the children are abnormal and are under care.and patrick has aready been to jail 2 times and chances are that this time he is going for a longer tearm

In some culture it is normal to marry your cosine. and in some it is normal to marry your niece.So it all depends on how you see it. Any problems with kids happens only if the inbreeding was going for generations.

you need to cut them off, they're clearly infected and have chemical imbalances, it's not right, it's socially wrong and you need to make them aware of how they've disgraced and ruined your family. don't speak to them again, they may be your children but they've shamed your family and their selfishness is disgusting, they clearly don't respect you.
