why do some people ask the same question over and over and over? im not naming names, but there is seriously this one question i have read at least once a day for the past couple weeks. the title of it is always differant but the wording used within the question is the EXACT same. i went and checked the persons questions, and this is seriously the only question they have ever asked since they got the account. if we havent come up with an answer that satisfies her in the several MONTHS she has had the account, what makes her think we will come up with an answer any time soon and that she shouldnt go seek professional help? it is a situation where professional help would aid her, i know because i have been in a similar situation. my point is, why ask the same question when everybody thus far has all told you the same thing?

btw, i should have mentiond earlier (thank you anyway for answering, i always reading new answers) there is no way she could forget she asked already, ive seen the same question within three spots of the last time she asked on the same page, so she'd be able to see her name and everything.

ok, so i investigated some more, and i found three differant accounts asking the same exact question...the words change slightly, like, a one word differance per scentance. i did some math and this exact question is being asked an average of 3 times a day since january. one of the accounts had it asked 117 times, another had 287 questions listed, and id say about half of them were this question. im kind of worried for her and wish there was a way i could get her some help...

no, im not stalking her. its just annoying when you are trying to answer questions, and you go to try and find a differant question and suddenly your looking at the same question you answerd the day before...and oh look, here it is again. plus i am terribly terribly bored right now, myspace has lost its flavor

well just think of how many people use yahoo answers. maybe she is just trying to get as many responses to this question as possible. posting the same question several times ensures that more people than usual will see and respond to it.

and since she has been posting it so many times, maybe she isnt ready to listen to the kind of responses people have been giving. maybe she is just waiting for someone to tell her what she wants to hear.

i know that i have wanted to post the same or similar questions more than once, because its nice to hear as many people as possible tell you what you need to hear. its very easy to forget words of wisdom when they do not follow what you really want. does that make sense? i dont think you were rude; its a normal thing to ponder i think... :)

Can't speak for her but personally I've asked an almost identical question 3 times in the last 2 days to try and get the best possible answer about how to get my xanax for my sleeplessness, anxiety, and panic. Went to the doc and they gave me the same meds they gave me a long time ago which is for sleep and is an anit-histamine..does'nt help with my anxiety. I need xanax..just don't know how to go about it without sounding like a druggie tryin to score some drugs. Be patient man. People just need to work around their problems..analyze all the responses and keep at it until they finally get something that works.

I have no idea, but I have discovered the same thing. It was someone who was in pain over a breakup...I answered once, and then when I saw the question again I was curious. I guess that they are just not dealing with whatever the problem is very well. I know that I myself tend dwell on things...but at some point there needs to be some change.I hope that they do seek help, because here we can only do so much, given the format.

I guess that there for the grace of God...go the rest of us.
