It sounds like you're washing your face too much. A lot of times your face will overreact if it's constantly being stripped of its natural oils. You can't really fix the problem by tomorrow, but you can start working on fixing it more permanently. Get a mild soap or a soap free wash (like Purpose) and wash your face before bed. Maybe when you wake up as well but it's really not neccessary. Afterwards moisturize with a light cream designed specifically for the face. Avoid wearing makeup on days when you're not really doing much and also avoid toners which can be over drying. Follow these steps and you should see improvement in a couple weeks.

Okay first things first... DO NOT WASH YOUR FACE MORE THAN 2X IN ONE DAY!! Wash your face in the morning when you wake up wait about 30 minutes and apply your topical acne product typically Benzoyl Peroxide no more than 10%. One of the reasons your acne is coming back is because your overwashing it. Also depending on what you are using it possibly could be too strong. I personally use Proactive and yes it does work, as long as you follow the directions and use it everyday 2x a day. The best advise I can give you is stop overwashing, if you do not use a perscription or Proactive or something simular, then here are a few things you can try: wash your face w/ a bar of soap called Purpose its soap free and my dermatologist recommends it or if you can not find it Neutrogena bar soap get unscented(perfumes in products could also be whats irritating your skin) for your quick fix for your party you wanna go to use Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne treatment Vanishing Cream Formula. Tonight before you go to bed wash your face like normal dab on this cream but do not rub in let it dry on your face only on the acne or pimple(s) this has a low dose of benzoyle peroxide 2.5% but its concentrated so it has the effectiveness of the 10% benzoyl peroxide. You will notice drying which is normal, you are drying up your pimple(s) so it is not as noticeable. I wish I had a overnight vanisher for you, but this should help. If you haven't already check into Proactive. And also food does not cause acne, its the thousands of pores on your face that get clogged from everyday dirt. I hope this was helpful.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Katie, pimples are usually hormonal. you're either in puberty, or your period is due or both. cleaning your face is very important especially in the hot weather, it stops your face from getting to oily or sweaty. it will stop the problem getting worse, but it won't solve the problem. in puberty some people get a lot more pimples than others unfortunately. if your pimples are plentyfull and big, you may need a perscription cream from your doctor, but usually it takes care of itself in time. for the party, just use a cover up makeup, there are some good ones on the market. tinted moisturisers are good because you do your whole face so the colour all blends in. not a good idea for everyday use though, makeup is not good for pimples, but it may help u out tonight. have a great night, belive me no one will be wasting time checking out your pimples except you.

sometimes you can wash your face too much. If you over wash then your skin can dry out and you will over produce oil which can clog your pore. only wash your skin twice a day more only if necessary. Use a toner applied with a cotton swab or similar this will aid in exfoliating your face. Sometimes the dead skin will clog your pores. And remember to moisturize. You can find moisturizing products with acne medication in it. Masks that have sulfur in it are good too, they help your skin heal. the proactive system is good it does all the thinking for you. What they advise you to do is good skin care. good luck!

There is nothing like a dermatologist, Some people no matter what they eat of wash with helps the dermatologist has prescription medications, Creams and washes that works wonders. For me I used soaps like Ivory and used a separate wash rag to rinse off with. Works for some people not all and when a pimple is popped clean off the puss with rubbing alcohol immediately to prevent new blemishes. Good luck!

well, theres no way its gunna go away by tomorrow. but for the future try eating healthy and staying away from greasy food. 3 times a day seems like a lot, only wash it twice, morning and night and make sure its a good wash, proactive? then, for the party, just wear some make up. lol. and dont worry, everyone isnt going to be looking at your face.

Don't worry about acne. I have it too, but as long as you are fun to be around it wont matter. Or you could wear a paper bag over your head.

Acne and pimples are common. Without fear you go to the party and enjoy. Alternatively, you can give me proxy and I shall attend on your behalf.
