At just about every "meeting" i've been to kids were taken to the back room and beat. And for seemingly nothing - maybe being thirsty.

I don't know some kids need a spanking and never get one while others are abused, should be a happy medium.

If this is so, it is abusive, illegal, disgusting and should be reported immediately. My stomach dropped when I read your question- nothing to do with you, just the thought of these places and those poor, terrified children. I think people who do this should be shot. Sorry, but I do.

Dude, I'm 44 years old and I was raised JW. And your answer is yes, I counted on lady like spank her kid 13 times once when I was about 12. It sucks! I am just Christian now.

May be you need to preach the gospel to them. This might be a sign of your calling. My advice to you will be to draw near to God and he will draw near to you, resist the devil and he will flee from you.
After you have done that the will of God for your life will be clear!
