You shop for a car loan at credit unions. The dealerships will just screw you over without credit. Normal interest for a first-time buyer is well into double-digits. A credit union would probably do it for 7%, if you have a decent stable job and can make the payments.

Try for a used car or build up your credit by taking out a loan of some sort through a financial institution.

Go to any car lot. Bring a check stub, proof of employment. If that lot wont sell you one , another one will. It might not be the car you want. You will drive a car home. Its easy to buy the car. Its not easy to make the payment.
