Tuscany has a temperate climate, not too cold in winter(snowfalls are very rare, unusual) and quite hot (but not as hot as in Africa..!!) in summer. Fall and spring are as a rule rainy and windy, but temperatures are generally mild.
Seasons are same as of the rest of the northern emisphere but meteorological classification in Italy (hence also in Tuscany) is :

Meteo winter - from Dec.1st till Feb. 28th (29th)
Meteo spring - from March 1st till May 31st.
Meteo summer - from June 1st till Sept. 30th
Meteo fall - from Oct.1st till Nov.30th.

Climate - The climate in Tuscany is mostly gentle even though this can vary from area to area. The sea and the coast are enjoyed by tourists during the summer season whereas the mountains are fresh in the summer and very cold in the winter. The cities are usually very hot during the summer; the temperatures in Florence and the other towns can be stifling but this does not detract from the many wonders they offer.

I stay in Siena so i must be a sprint biased, yet i think of Siena and Florence are the desirable. From Siena you are able to actual pass to the hill cities Montalcino, Pienza, and Montepulciano (all 3 could be carried out in an afternoon), San Gimignano, and Monteriggioni, that's a TINY city and can be seen in an hour on your thank you to San Gimignano or Florence. The nation-state of the Chianti between Siena and Florence is likewise to no longer be missed on a similar time as the nation-state to the south, the place you will locate the hill cities can provide the postcard factors of interest. Lucca is likewise a widespread of ours and you will pass to Pisa and Lucca in an afternoon once you're in a hurry and choose for to work out each little thing. be sure you %. an afternoon with sturdy climate by way of fact in Lucca you ought to hire a motorbike and experience around the partitions. As for a sea region, Porto Santo Stefano is our widespread in spite of if this is an prolonged way away and a great style of of the properly-enjoyed factors of interest in Tuscany are based around Siena and Florence. in case you merely have 5 days, i could focus around Siena and Florence as they're the closest to the best factors of interest and extremely almost each little thing you will see is gorgeous.

To get the utmost of it's beauty i'd go there in May/June! Everything is blushing (whereas starting August it can be awfully dry),not too many tourists, still almost empty beaches etc. La bella Vita!
