I have been single for a long while now. 2-3 years. I have only had one realtionship in my life. I miss having that feeling. Is this normal after 3 years? And what do you suggest to get over this feeling?

its different for everyone. there's not really a "normal" way. It just depends on how long it takes you to find Mr. Right. Put yourself out there for sure but don't worry about it. Everyone has someone and maybe you just haven't found him yet...

Everyone's different; my completely normal and beautiful sister didn't get into her first relationship until she was 24. 2-3 isn't very long considering that some very unfortunate people will never be in a relationship. But try not to let this go too much longer, for your own sake. Instead of waiting for Prince Charming, you can be proactive and keep an eye out for him. Maybe now is the time to step out of your comfort zone and be the pursuer! Guys honestly really love it when a woman is straightforward and asks him on a date. When you're on a date, try to just have fun in the moment. Don't force yourself to think of your possible relationship status with the guy you're dating. I'd say the way to get over your empty feeling is to try to be completely satisfied with who you are before you try to move on to your next relationship. Also... chocolate always, always helps. :)

I know exactly what you're going through, only I did it for approximately 8 years! I never thought I'd find a guy and have those feelings either. I tried so hard to find someone and the minute I gave up and decided I wasn't meant to have anyone.... thats when my Mr Right showed up. The saying is so true..that if you look too hard you won't find it. It'll happen when you least expect it to. I speak from experience. Just enjoy yourself, be yourself and when it's meant to happen it will!

You can fill up the void by hagning out with friends. It's not the same but you can also get a dog. You'll never find true love until he greets you when you come home with those loving eyes. Or I guess find a guy you might like.
