After dating for a few years, I would like to live together, he does not want to, which leads to fights, which leads to him saying "why would I want to live together when we are fighting all the time"
Am I looking at this in a screwed up way? Am I missing the obvious? what have you done if you were in the same situation?

I wouldnt force the issue
He will move in when he feels that the time is right
By you forcing the issue it could take a strain on your relationship and you could end up loosing him
Just let is be he knows how you are feeling and give the time and space to feel the same, maybe he had some bad experience previously when he moved in with a girl

wheres the catch 22? he is just afraid of commitment
and u need to cut him off cause thats all he wants
or just move on to find the better one
