perhaps once you fail at something and realize its no big deal. or some people would say the only true failure is not trying. As long as you put your best effort forward you wont fail. you may have not got the exact results you wanted but you didn't fail. You can find something good in the experience. you have learnt something and experience will make you that much more prepared and adept to carry out further tasks in the future

I used to have this problem and thankfully the solution is easy!
First, you have to think the whole situation out to a REALISTIC conclusion. Say for example you do fail. What is the worst that will REALLY happen?
Here's an exaple for me: I don't want my husband to watch me play soccer because I don't want him to see me suck when he is really good.
Worst case situation: I do suck. He's not going to dump me, he's not going to think I'm an idiot, he's not going to wish he was with a woman who is good at soccer. If anything, he'll either help me get better or say that playing soccer isn't an activity that we can enjoy together.
Knowing that my two realistic worst outcomes are 1. he helps me or 2. I don't play soccer with him on a regular basis takes a lot of pressure off. I don't have to stress about playing good to impress him- I'm married to the guy! Not being good at soccer doesn't make me a bad wife, it just means that I don't know how to play.
Bottom line: You have to think about what is really going to happen if you fail, not what could possibly happen, but what is most likely going to happen.
One last example I'll give you is about my fearful mom. My parents lent me $2000. While my mom was at my house, I gave her $2000 in cash to take to my dad to repay my debt. She was scared to drive from my house to her house (5 miles) because "I could get into a car wreck, become unconscious, someone could take my purse and all the money."
This is could happen but it's very unrealistic.
Once you look past all those irrational thoughts and fears and see what is true and real- things don't seem so scary.
Another wise word I've been told is that we create our worst fears. If you fear failure, you will create it. One good example that made me a believer in this is my best friend. She was so worried that her boyfriend would leave her so she always went out of her way to please him and be with him. It got to the point where he just wanted to be left alone for a while. She began to panic because she was scared he wanted to leave her so she started calling him incessently and went over to his house and started crying because he wouldn't answer his phone. He dumped her because he was sick of her behavior.

Shelley,
Read this and apply it and you will never have this trouble again.
That which we resist, persists.
Pay attention, if we think about why we are procrastinators and the like we will always be more of that. Even to a point of accepting that as our normal character.
If you resist it(think about it) it will persist.
This is your answer,
not once, never never never again think about such a thing, however think "how can i become happy and acomplish all that i want to acomplish." you must "feel" the joy of acomplishment BEFORE. Then you will change automaticly with little effort, just takes time to practice these thoughts. Try it and you will believe me

any sort of depression can be tide over by faith in GOD and sincere prayer.
Your prayer is from your heart. Further You must have to understood the fact that God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
Hence there is always a possible way to complete mergence with God in this life by a simple and wonderful meditation

You are never a failure if you JUST TRY. When you do not try that is when you really do fail.
