Why are people so ignorant of and judgemental of the Bible- especially why the apocryphal books are not a part of it ? Those books make no sense historically and their facts are a mess, which is why they aren't included. The ORIGINAL Bibles were Greek - the common language at the time, then came the Hebrew bible, then the Roman Catholic ( Paganistic - Constantine - for anyone who wants to contend this ) changed it to Latin, which only they spoke, and destroyed the other books - nearly. How ? Ever heard of the RCC's sanctioned Inquisitions ?

AND for all of the Catholics I can already hear whining, read Revelation 17 and it's footnotes, then reply - the RCC houses the Anti Christ- it is mystery Babylon.

ok, do you stock in that site or is your pc broken ? The old testament is filled with negativity, but all of that changed with Jesus' return. I disagree ,the more you read it, the more it makes so much sense. Most think its a book you read and then put down/ criticize. Too few use it to live their lives.

they judge it cause its easier to just say "fake" then it is to actually do the work and find out the truth. same reason why people will cheat off anothers test, the lack of wanting to find out the truth.

I use to be like that, then I did my own homework, with no church, nothing religious. Did my work just as if I was studying for college. And today.....I am a proud soldier of YAHWEH.

it somewhat is contained interior the OT Septuagint, the approved Greek bible on the time of Jesus. It took approximately 4 hundred yrs for the Catholic Church to collect, style, edit, assemble and print the Holy Bible. for that reason the approved Latin Vulgate, is precisely the 40 six books of OT Septuagint and the 27 books of the recent Testaments. The bible have been cannonized something like this: "The collective of church homes did not vote on the situation till advert 396" The African synods and the councils of Carthage-397and Hippo-393 are on the top of the fourth century are certainly whilst the canon of scripture replaced into formulated. yet till this time there replaced into lots controversy concerning to which New testomony books have been seen inspired in the Christian community. the actuality of the situation is that till this time the Bible (as a mixed e book of writings below one cover) did not exist. actual, the O/T books have been written till now Christ, and the N/T books interior the 1st century besides the undeniable fact that it replaced into not till the canon of scripture replaced into formally formulated that the Bible replaced into certain into one e book. the easy fact is that Catholics did create the Bible. however the Decree of Pope St. Damasus I, Council of Rome. 382 A.D.... IS THE OLD TESTAMENT INSPIRED?

If it is, it should be a book that no man -- no number of men -- could produce.

It should contain the perfection of philosophy.

It should perfectly accord with every fact in nature.

There should be no mistakes in astronomy, geology, or as to any subject or science.

Its morality should be the highest, the purest.

Its laws and regulations for the control of conduct should be just, wise, perfect, and perfectly adapted to the accomplishment of the ends desired.

It should contain nothing calculated to make man cruel, revengeful, vindictive or infamous.

It should be filled with intelligence, justice, purity, honesty, mercy and the spirit of liberty.

It should be opposed to strife and war, to slavery and lust, to ignorance, credulity and superstition.

It should develop the brain and civilize the heart.

It should satisfy the heart and brain of the best and wisest.

It should be true.

Does the Old Testament satisfy this standard?

Your observations are in error, sir.

To learn how the books of the bible came to be assembled as such see: http://gbgm-umc.org/umw/bible/canons.stm

Catholic and Episcopal bibles have the same number of canonical books. The Catholic and Episcopal bible also includes some non-canonical books, grouped as the Apocrypha.

Many versions of the bible existed before the King James and the advent of mass printing.

You would be better off to live your life through the deep convictions of yourself as a Soul instead of putting your belief in an archaic book written by primitive men. Its only Ego combined with its need for religious absolution that keeps you self righteous.

No sarcasm here. I just feel the Bible is judgmental, is it not? And shame on the RCC, no argument there. And there is much ignorance in blind faith.

is it wrong to be so narrow minded as to perpetuate unobjective one sidedness . I never have had any faith in these writings. It's parallel to oral hearsay they both are merely someones opinion and couldn't really hold up in a proper court of law . I take it for what it's worth food for thought and nothing more .

You mean Jesus Christ speaks Greek? ;P

But how many times had you read the bible..... to me, the more I read it, the less sense it makes, the more judgmental it is.

I think your mind is the one that is closed.

It really sounds like you really don't care at all. You put words in other people's mouths and keep your mind closed. I say, shame on you for what you do. If you keep this up, they all will enter Heaven before you. Think about it.<><
